Homework:
p.246 #1-6, 14-19, 29-32
Today, we started chapter 5. We learned about Midsegments of Triangles, the most important item in the chapter. Make sure you have made a vocab index card for the definition of "Midsegment" and the "Triangle Midsegment Theorem."
There will be a vocabulary quiz on Wednesday, so make sure you have all your vocab words transferred to index cards.
For more help on today's material, read section 5.1 in your textbook. Odd numbered answers are in the back of the book if you want to check your work as you go.
Thanks,

Today, we threw Barbie off the ledge. She survived every jump, up until we threw her off with 40 rubber bands around her ankles. That proved to be too much leeway.
Memorial services for Barbie (a.k.a., "Collectible Fashion Doll from the Dollar Tree") will be held Monday at 7:30 am in room 117.
Have a great weekend. Remember, every day your project is late, 7 points will come off the grade. Make sure you bring your packet on monday.

Study for test
Tomorrow, we'll have a BIG test, mainly on chapter 4, with a 20-question review section on chapters 1-3.
I passed out a extra credit review packet. If it is turned in by Monday with at least 40 out of 50 questions answered correctly, it will raise your lowest test score 7 points (the equivalent of one letter grade).
Questions? Just email me at matt.jones@dpsnc.net. I'll check it tonight for last minute study help.

ALL STUDENTS AND PARENTS
Unless otherwise noted, I will stay after school every tuesday and thursday until 3:30pm this semester to offer one-on-one tutoring to any student who needs a little extra help.
Sometimes, I'll have a meeting or other obligations which prevents me from staying after school, and whenever possible, I'll post that information on this blog on monday or wednesday. Hope to see lots of you there to take advantage.
If you have any questions, please email me at matt.jones@dpsnc.net.
